Our Warranty Policy terms are dependent on the product type, construction, key component sourcing and any other direct or indirect variables (specified by customer). The Policy is typically outlined in the individual and detailed Product Specifications.We recommend that our Customer Support department be contacted for specific questions and warranty information related to the product being purchased.
A general overview of Warranty Policy terms covering some of our main product lines is as below;
1) All Custom Battery Packs and Chargers are normally warranted against defects or poor workmanship for 6 months from the date of shipping and governed by terms of use detailed in the individual Product Specification document.
2) All 2 Way Radio Rechargeable battery packs are typically warranted for full 24 months against any defects in manufacturing or non-cell related issues. In addition, the cells used in these battery packs are governed by the following:
a) Nickel-Cadmium batteries are warranted to maintain 80% of their rated capacity for 12 months.
b) Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries are warranted to maintain 80% of their rated capacity for 12 months.
c) Lithium-Ion batteries are warranted to maintain 80% of their rated capacity for 12 months.
d) Lithium-Polymer batteries are warranted to maintain 80% of their rated capacity for 12 months.
Note:
Any problem caused by malfunction of the equipment or misuse of the battery or charger is not covered under this warranty and is subject to the findings as per our RMA procedure.
